Who We Are

CuraMoms is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that no mother faces motherhood alone. We exist to provide care, connection, and empowerment for mothers and their families through practical support, emotional wellness, education, and community.

We serve mothers from all backgrounds —including expecting mothers, new mothers, immigrant mothers, single mothers, and families navigating hardship — without discrimination or exclusion.

CuraMoms was created to be more than a service provider. We are a community of healing, growth, and restoration.

Our Story

CuraMoms was born from lived experience.

Our founder became a mother without the safety net of family, community, or institutional support. She navigated pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood in isolation — learning firsthand how vulnerable a mother becomes when support is missing.

What began as personal survival became a vision:

No mother should have to endure motherhood alone.

From that truth, CuraMoms was created — not as charity, but as collective care. A place where mothers could find support without judgment, help without shame, and community without barriers.

What started as a single woman’s experience has grown into a mission to support mothers across communities.

Our Mission, Our Vision & Our Approach

Guiding every mother toward care, connection, and empowerment — today and for the future.

OUR MISSION

To ensure that no mother faces motherhood alone by providing compassionate care, connection, education, and empowerment so mothers and their children can stabilize, heal, and thrive.

A world where every mother — regardless of race, income, immigration status, or circumstance — has access to:

  • Emotional support
  • Practical resources
  • Community belonging
  • Opportunities for stability and growth

We envision healthier mothers, stronger families, and brighter futures for children.

OUR APPROACH

OUR VISION

CuraMoms operates through a whole-mother model of support, addressing both practical and emotional needs. We believe that lasting stability is not achieved through one-time aid alone, but through consistent care, strong community, knowledge and empowerment, and dignity-centered service.

WHO WE SERVE

CuraMoms supports:
  • Pregnant and expecting mothers
  • New and postpartum mothers
  • Single mothers
  • Immigrant and refugee mothers
  • Mothers facing housing insecurity
  • Mothers navigating crisis or transition
  • Families working toward stability

You do not have to be in crisis to be supported.

You only have to be a mother seeking connection and care.

What We Do

Our work is delivered through five program pillars:

Health access, emergency essentials, and resource navigation

Peer support, community circles, and mentorship

Parenting, wellness, and life-skills education

Leadership and economic empowerment

Advocacy for maternal dignity and systems change

OUR IMPACT PHILOSOPHY

We believe that impact is not measured only in numbers, but in mothers who feel seen, families who find stability, children who grow in secure environments, and communities that become stronger together.

CuraMoms is committed to long-term, measurable outcomes through consistent support and strong partnerships.

CuraMoms is led by women with lived experience, professional backgrounds, and a shared commitment to maternal well-being.

CuraMoms is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operating in Washington State. All donations are tax-deductible as permitted by law.

Whether you are a mother in need of support, a volunteer, a donor, or a community partner, there is a place for you at CuraMoms.
